Case Studies

Tanzania House

The Tanzania High Commission had existing built up letters on the wall, however some were damaged. They were initially looking for replacements for 2 letters, which were missing, but decided to have whole sign replaced. We advised a brushed stainless steel finish as it will wear better, after agreeing on a modern styling.
A quick turnaround was very important as there was a very clear deadline of a visit from the Prime Minister of Tanzania. Access was a challenge due to outside steps going down to a basement level, so a lift was used.

Little Cherubs Nursery

Little Cherubs Nursery had an existing wooden sign which was rotting. They were looking for a metal replacement in the same design to replace it, giving it a fresh and clean look that would stand the test of time.
Signs Now were able to offer a fast turnaround and the customer is very happy with the results, having asked us to quote for a cut out logo on an exterior wall for another of their nurseries.

Oriental Wellbeing

,

The customer at Oriental Wellbeing was looking for low cost signage that looked like luxury. There was an existing wooden fascia so flat cut letters were all that was required, plus self adhesive vinyl window graphics and letters applied to the wall behind the reception desk.
For the letters being applied to the fascia, Michael took some colour swatches to choose from and the customer loved the gold. The customer made his decision quickly and Signs Now were able to deliver a fast turnaround. The result is a luxury finish achieved within a limited budget.

Flip Out Trampoline Park, Wandsworth

,

Flip Out Trampoline Park in Wandsworth is part of High Fly Ltd who had taken over the site of a bingo hall which had been gutted and refurbished. This is their flagship branch and they are planning to do more around the London area.

Signs Now were the last to quote and were able to be competitive. From then on the project moved quickly and we handled the planning applications on behalf of the customer. This also involved several meetings to ensure that the customer was completely happy.

The result is the installation of large industrial signs ready for opening.

Harley Street Hair Clinic

,

Harley Street Hair Clinic had recently moved locations as they needed more space. The prestigious location means that advertising on the outside of the building is not allowed exterior signage. With clients including professional sports people and other celebrities, an excellent first impression was extremely important. So it was decided to make the most of the reception area and install a striking sign above the fireplace. The customer, Jennifer was looking for built up letters and an illuminated logo and the result works well.

Black Cube, Central London

,

Technology company Black Cube, based in Central London, were looking for modern and distinctive office signage to fit their branding. The solution we offered was built up letters for their logo, as well as office prints showing the different office locations around the world.

With the location being central London, our installers were still able to access and fit the signage despite the access challenges. The result is a smart finish and a very happy customer.

Salvation Army, Croydon

,

The Salvation Army in Croydon were looking to enhance the visibility of their building. In spite of being based on a busy road, they wanted to improve the awareness of local people that they were there.

The solution was a monoflat sign with an illuminated menu case and fret cut detail. This not only meant that the sign was visible day and night, but they are also able to change the contents for events and to promote groups and regular meetings.

Syntec Projects, Islington

Syntec Projects based in West London are contractors and shopfitters who were working on a project in Islington when they contacted Signs Now. City Wharf is an apartment complex and they required directional signage to inform people of which entrance to use.

They were looking for a sign with a matt finish and our solution was a monoflat sign in aluminium with white and gold vinyl applied. This gave a high quality look in keeping with the exclusive look of the apartment complex itself.

Alligator Storage, Camden

Alligator Self Storage based in Camden were looking to rebrand, requiring several external signs. Michael visited the premises to quote but the customer already had their own artwork so it was a straightforward project, with flat wall signs manufactured inhouse at Signs Now to replace existing signage. One challenging sign in terms of installation was above the entrance to an underground carpark on the site. Our team of installers had to deal with continuing traffic whilst the sign was fitted.

Helen Star Nails, Twickenham

, ,

Helen Star Nails in Twickenham had recently been taken over by a young couple. They were keen to keep the name, but wanted to update the look. Originally they had come to Signs Now with a low budget and were looking for basic signs. But owner Kim saw another nail salon and was inspired by the illuminated sign they had and loved how it looked, so we were asked to quote. The fascia that they already had was not safely secured and was overhanging, so we needed to reduce the length and make it safer. Communication was ongoing whilst artwork was approved and at a second meeting Michael sat down with Kim to look at the visuals, which she was pleased with. She had also been sent over some colour samples to look at. The finished sign is a fret cut standard illuminated sign with economical LEDs, which have a 5 year warranty. We used replacement panels for the projecting light box sign to keep costs down.
